What happens during a consultation?
A comprehensive case history will be taken exploring your presentation in the context of your life including diet, work, relationships, exercise, and medications. There is a focus on multiple body systems during case-taking and treatments. Treatment modalities include herbal medicine, wholefood nutrition, and nutritional supplementation. In most cases, a maximum of 3 elements will form your prescription.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring a list of current medications so potential herb/drug/nutrient contraindications can be investigated. If you have recent blood work or screening reports, please bring those as well.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations to enable waitlisted patients to be notified.
A 50% cancellation fee applies for less than 24 hours' notice.
What are your consultation fees?
Initial Consult (60-75 mins): $235
Review Consult (45-60 mins): $140
Express Consult (30 mins): $85
Consultations are GST-exempt; prescriptions incur GST. We accept Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, and EFTPOS.
Do you offer private health insurance rebates?
No. From April 2019, private health insurers are no longer permitted to provide cover for naturopathy and herbal medicine. Currently there is no rebate available for Smith & Co's services.
Where is the clinic located and how do I get there?
The clinic is at 9 Rosslyn Street, West Leederville, WA 6007. West Leederville Train station (Fremantle line) is metres away. Bus routes 81-85 stop on Cambridge Street, minutes' walk from the clinic. Enter the shared driveway between Dermatology WA (number 5) and Number 9 to find 3 dedicated parking bays at the rear. There's also 2-hour free parking on Rosslyn Street and at West Leederville Shopping Centre underground carpark.
